Finally we have some adoption news to post. I got an e-mail from our coordinator today and here is the latest update:
"I heard from our Russian staff. Your dossier was sent to Volgograd region. It's already registered with the Ministry of Education, so you are actually "in line" for the next available child. I cannot tell you about the wait yet, the coordinators will be following on your case and once they get a feel for the time frame, I will let you know as well. If you want, I can connect you to some "references" of families, who have adopted from Volgograd in the past, so you can get to know more about this region. At this time you do not need to do any paperwork, just waiting for the next update. "
