Yeah! We got our FBI clearances today. We also found out we need to redo a form that we sent last week so we are frantically running around (again;) getting this done and getting everything notarized, flagged and apostilled. These need to be sent to a family in Michigan by Saturday. Looks like another trip to Albany Thursday or maybe my new friend at the Department of State will rush this through if I overnight it.
When I spoke to my coordinator today she said she really thinks we will be traveling toward the end of January. YEAH ... so happy to hear this as we're already tired of the waiting and it's only been 2 1/2 weeks. We have plenty to keep us busy but waiting till the end of February would be awful.
Since we are so busy we've officially decided that we will not be decorating for x-mas and we will be working on Mischa's room instead. I already feel less stressed ... it's like taking two things off my list, putting the decorations up and taking them down.

Wonderful news!
Aunt Vicki
Michele ... I hope you are feeling better. I missed you today!
I think you guys are very wise to work on Mischa's room instead of decorate this year - you can really decorate next year with Mischa! Her first Christmas in the U.S.! How exciting will that be?!!
I cannot believe all the paperwork you have to do - bet you will be sooo happy when there is no more paperwork - understatement of the year perhaps!! LOL
January - That is such awesome news - hopefully she will be here to share Valentine's Day with you!
We are wishing you both a Very Merry Christmas and the Bestest and Happiest New Year (I know bestest is not a real word, but...)
Love, Cher
It was good talk to you yesterday and catch up. Glad to hear about your FBI clearance was done again! You don't need to worry about your tree this year, you'll eat like 15 different Christmas meals and see everyone elses trees! Next year you'll have so much fun with Mischa! Talk to you soon, thanks for all of your well wishes! Michele:)
