As promised Lena and Natasha sent us an update and pictures yesterday. It was so nice to see Mischa. Her hair has grown and is very blonde. Lena's update is below. Some of it may sound funny but it's just the translation. They also sent pictures of Mischa talking on a toy phone saying Hello to us.
"Hi Jill! Mischa is doing great. Katerina (social worker) said that her behaver became fresh after she had understooden that she has somebody like you who can help her. When she saw me she was interested in a toy I had for her. You can see on the picture she is calling you and saying you HELLO! Mischa didn't like that I had interrupted her game. Mischa was very serious and she didn't give me any smile. Mischa keeps her smile for you! In the orphanage they have decorated a Christmas tree in the yard, may be you will see it! It has been snowing in Volgograd for two days, so we can feel Christmas is coming soon! Enjoy seeing pictures of your little Mischa!"

Jill, thanks for the link,since I can't use my own computer right now! It was nice to catch up on everything that is going on with the adoption!Love the cake!Love that Mischa has already picked up great phone skills! Wait till you get her home and we can teach her great shopping skills! Please tell Cheryl thank you for the well wishes...keep them coming. We are expecting another storm tomorrow and Sunday and we are officially 7 days with no power. It sucks, and I am trying to stay positive and have a lot of faith that I am only given what I can handle!!! Poor Carson...every 5 minutes wants to know when the power is coming back, and wants to make sure that they haven't forgotten about us(everyone on our street has power except us)! I will check the blog again soon! Michele :)
Jill, I got all teary eyed (happy tears) when reading about Mischa "calling" you. What an absolutely precious little girl! Tony and I agree that the bond between you must be very strong. You three are so incredibly special and blessed. You are going to make such a great family. :-)
It was nice to read Michele's post and know electricity is coming back to her area - hopefully she has heat and lights now, too!
Have a great weekend - we are due for another round of arctic cold. Oh boy! I really am more of a surf and sun type gal, not cold and snow. It will be a movie weekend for us! LOL!!
