While the caregivers take wonderful care of the children I don't think they have alot of time to spend with them one on one everyday. There were about 10 children in Mischa's group, all around her age and only 2 or 3 caregivers. They are busy women, but it was obvious that they truly care about the children. When the doctor was examining Mischa, she was not happy and it was the only time we heard her really, really cry. One of the caregivers was right by her side talking to her in Russian. It was very sweet and later they told us that she has "white coat syndrome" and that the baby home doctor usually examines her in street clothes so that she doesn't get scared. (I'll need to remember this for doctor's visits :)

The card from Drew and Cooper is awesome!! Mischa is going to get sooo much love and attention when she gets home! Have a safe trip tomorrow, Michele :)ps..send the other AP blog when you can.
She sounds so precious. I love how she is pointing to the card. What a little Sweetheart! Once you get her home her doctor will be able to forego the white coat for her check-ups. That is so sad. Soon all she will know is love and hugs and kisses from her mommy and daddy! Another week almost half done. The time is getting closer and closer. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys and Mischa. Love, Cher
That is awesome news about Granite. She will rebound very quickly - Dogs are pretty amazing with their recovery. Thanks for the update. Have a great day, week, weekend! Cher
